Medsey Manor Press is an independent British publishing imprint established by D. S. R. Mead, Lord of the Manor of Eastbourne Medsey.
The Press adopts as its publisher's device the emblem from the banner in the Castle of Inis Cúin, off the coast of Ireland, within which one finds the mysterious and powerful The Dampening Stone.
The Press has been established initially to publish Wizards Without Magic, a series of historical fantasy novels set in the Edwardian period, beginning with the first book, The Dampening Stone.

The Dampening Stone, is the first in the
Wizards Without Magic series.
Set against the extraordinary events and mysteries of the early twentieth century, the series follows a group of unlikely companions through a world in which history and the supernatural exist rather closer together than most people suspect.
Behind the familiar accounts of discoveries, disappearances and unexplained events may lie stories that history has overlooked — and secrets that some would prefer remained undisturbed.
